Cliniques de l’institution et du groupe… dans la pratique pionnière d’August Aichhorn auprès d’adolescents délinquants
Résumé
From 1918 to 1923, August Aichhorn ran an educational centre for juveniles and adolescents in the Northern suburb of Vienna. Supported by S. Freud who dedicated his book Wayward Youth in 1925, his original and recognized practice has already been the subject of many studies, both in the psychoanalytic and pedagogical fields. And yet these studies rarely emphasize the group and institutional aspects of his practice, dimensions that were probably obliterated by the “magical” character of his practice. We articulate the group and institutional dimensions with several clinical illustrations, in particular by exploring the group dynamics of violent adolescents.
